Surf School Testimonials
from students and friends
"Coach John, I went out two or three times after our one on one, that tip about looking forward made all the difference. I just kept it in mind before I hit the lip and I started completing everything, I think I fell twice the whole session. I started looking back at some footage, and I noticed that if I got hung up behind the wave or lost the next section it was always for the same reason (not looking forward). THANKYOU."

"I can remember when I was a young grom, I was just blown away by John Holeman's surfing. At the time, he was just starting his Air 360. It was so incredible and futuristic. There was nobody doing anything like it. They had the Sundek Classic at the Holiday Inn and the worlds best would come to compete. Guys like Cheyne Horan, etc. When people started hearing about John Holeman's surfing, crowds would gather for his heats. Larry Bertelman and Button, two of the most futuristic surfers of the time, would just flip out when they watched John. They couldn't believe what they were seeing. he was truly ahead of his time. As I grew into my late teen years, I became good friends with John. Along with a couple other surfers, we would have fun surf sessions and take turns videoing each other. After we were done, we go to someone's house and eat while we watched and critiqued each other over the video. You could see that John was genuine in wanting to help the improvement of younger surfers. These days, he is taking it more serious and is one of the East Coast's top coaches. He has the knowledge, experience, and tools to break down a surfers fundamentals and help improve their skills."
